Pet Training Services...
For many pet dog owners the
need to seek professional help and guidance for behavioural or training
problems is quite rare. The canine community is vast and diverse
and there are many methodologies and approaches used in training
your dog.
As part of our full range of services we are looking
simplistically at those dog's who perhaps have not attended training
classes or have very little control whilst on the lead, or those
dogs that are reluctant to walk to heel or perhaps not so tolerant
of other dogs whilst out for a walk. Many owners may find that a
disability or an illness or some family situation has compounded
this problem and the dog becomes unruly as a result of the change
in personal circumstances.
These problems sometimes do not require a specialist
training advisor or a course of one to one training and can be addressed
as an ongoing process as part of our Dog Walking Services. All of
our Dog Walkers have achieved accreditation via the Kennel Club
Good Citizen Dog Scheme up to the Gold Level award and are vocationally
equipped to teach your dog the basic fundamentals of words of command,
lead control and off lead recall activities.
Many dogs and owners benefit from the positive relationship
that is formed during a dog walking program. Occasionally, due to
the circumstances as described above some additional training may
be required. For a small additional charge a more directed training
approach can be included as part of any dog walking program.
Whilst this service is available for our existing
clients, we are always happy to consider individual referrals.
